Breaux Bridge – A Funeral Service was held at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, August 25, 2020, at Pellerin Funeral Home for Donna Marie Reed, 55, who passed away on Monday, August 24, 2020.
Visiting hours were observed at the funeral home from 8 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
Rev. Nicholas DuPré officiated at the Funeral Service. Interment followed at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge.
Donna was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She loved working in her yard, baking and cooking, reading, and shopping. Donna especially loved spending time with her grandchildren – they meant the world to her.
She is survived by her loving husband of 34 years, Benny A. Reed of Breaux Bridge; son, Kasey (Genavee) Reed; daughter, Nicky (Rusty) Castellano; two brothers, Clint Boudreaux and Shelby Boudreaux; three sisters, Patty Boudreaux, Iris (Timothy) Broussard and Denise (Michael) Broussard; five grandchildren, Braiten Castellano, Kayten Reed, Ashten Castellano, Gemma Castellano and Aven Castellano;
She was preceded in death by her parents, Curtis and LeeAnna Boudreaux.
Pallbearers were Kasey Reed, Clint Boudreaux, Joseph Reed, Russell Reed, Larry Boudreaux and Rusty Castellano.
Honorary pallbearers were Braiten Castellano, Ashten Castellano and Aven Castellano.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge was in charge of arrangements.
