St. Martinville – A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 5, at Notre Dame Catholic Church for Irene Patt Barras, 87, who passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 26, 2020.
She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Rodney (Cheryl) Savoy; six sons, Ronald, Wendell Sr., James, Gerald Sr. and George Barras Sr., and Daniel James; brother, Lennis Phillips Sr.; five sisters, Margaret P. Alexander, Viola, Hilda, Irma and Ida Phillips; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Barras Sr.
Pellerin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
