He was a graduate of St. Martinville Senior High in 1994. Shortly after graduation, Lance began his lifelong career for Wal-Mart. Lance fulfilled his duties as an energetic, well-loved, and friendly associate for 24 devoted years.
Lance was a kind and loving son, brother, cousin, uncle, and friend. He always made it known to others that “He was a Batiste.” He enjoyed spending time with his family and texting his cousins. But most of all, we want to remember Lance for his compassion and heart-felt smile. He never encountered a person who was a stranger to him. Everybody was his cousin or friend.
