Linda Faye Ledet

St. Martinville – Funeral services were conducted for Mrs. Linda Faye Ledet, 61, the former Linda Bonhomme, at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 8, 2022, at Notre Dame Catholic Church.

She was a native and lifelong resident of St. Martinville and passed at 4:40 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 2, 2022, following a brief illness.

She was a St. Martin Parish school retired bus driver.

She is survived by three sons, Hamilton Ledet Jr., Kawaski Ledet and Terry Ledet; a daughter, Sherrie Ledet; five brothers, Russell, Michael, David, Sydney and Gary Bonhomme; and three sisters, Carolyn Mitchell, and Leanna and Nancy Bonhomme.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard Bonhomme Sr. and Lovenia Bonhomme; and brothers, Howard Bonhomme II, Lawerence Bonhomme Sr., Hollis Bonhomme, Randy Bonhomme and Bradley Bonhomme.

Active pallbearers were Donervon Bonhomme, Kevin Bonhomme, Harry Coleman, Joseph Collins Jr., Edmond Joseph, Kevin Joseph and Demarcus Ledet.

Honorary pallbearers were Russell Bonhomme, Michael Bonhomme, David Bonhomme, Sydney Bonhomme and Gary Bonhomme.

The Golden Meadows Funeral Home of St. Martinville was in charge of arrangements.
