Breaux Bridge – A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Wednesday, Nov. 18, at St. Bernard Catholic Church for David W. Hebert, 57, who passed away on Monday, Nov. 16, 2020.
He is survived by his wife, Verna Brown Hebert; daughters, Mrs. Richard (Kristin) Valdez, Mrs. Broc (Shelby) Arnaud, and Stevie and Kylan Hebert; six grandchildren; mother, Margaret Theriot; brother, Rickey Hebert; and sister, Vicki Hebert.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Amber N. Hebert; and son, Jake Hebert.
Pellerin Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

St. Martinville – A Mass of Christian Burial was conducted for Mary Theresa Laperouse Melancon, 87, at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, November 24, 2020, at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church. Fr. John Joseph officiated.
Interment will be held privately at a later date.
A visitation took place at Evangeline Funeral Home in St. Martinville on Tuesday from 9 a.m. until the service time. A rosary was prayed at 11 a.m.
A native of and resident of St. Martinville, Mrs. Melancon passed away on Saturday, November 21, 2020, at Landmark of Acadiana Nursing Home in Cade.
