Breaux Bridge – Lynnie Bienvenu, Arleen Oubre and Louella Champagne presented a program entitled “Your Significant Other” when members met at the home of Reggie Maraist.

Bienvenu began the program by presenting a card to each member and asked everyone to write down the qualities in their spouse or best friend that they thought made the relationship successful.

Oubre gave suggestions about what everyone can do to help strengthen a relationship, such as communicating with and showing concern for each other, making each other feel appreciated and needed, spending quality time together, being affectionate and being a good listener.

Champagne concluded the program by affirming the comments made and suggested that all members write down their feelings about their significant other and present it to them on Valentine’s Day.

A brief meeting was conducted by the president.

The Area Convention will be held on April 10 in Houma.

Yvette Greig won the courtesy prize and Charlotte received the floating basket.

Reggie offered refreshments to Bobbie Theriot, Elaine Case, Shirley Fuselier, Charlotte Chataignier, Pearl Bienvenue, Yvette Greig, Arleen Oubre, Louella Champagne and Lynnie Bienvenu.
