Stanley and Rose Douet of Cecilia recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary; they were married on November 10, 1961, in St. Francis Regis Catholic Church in Arnaudville. Their children are Rickey Douet, Victoria Douet, Kathleen Richings and Adrienne Godeaux. They have six grandchildren.
