St. Martinville – Funeral services were held on Saturday, April 3, at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church for Alfred Nuges Landry, 88, who passed away on Tuesday, March 30, 2010, at Dauterive Hospital in New Iberia.

Interment followed at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Broussard.

Survivors include his sons, Alfred Landry of St. Martinville, Jimmy Simon of Lafayette and Chris Landry of New Iberia; his daughters, Mary Duhon and Cathy Landry, both of New Iberia; 24 grandchildren, 58 great-grandchildren and 25 great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Betty Louviere; his brother, Jeffery Landry; his sister, Gladys Theriot; one grandchild and one great-grandchild.

Pellerin Funeral Home of St. Martinville is in charge of arrangements.
