Jay and Kim Boutte of St. Martinville announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Jacie Lynn Boutte, to Chad Abraham Cormier on Friday, December 2, 2011, during a 4:30 p.m. ceremony at Rip Van Winkle Gardens in New Iberia. The groom-elect is the son of George Cormier of Carencro and Laura Cormier of Lafayette and the grandson of Billy and Wanda Montgomery of Morgan City and the late Pete and Georgette Cormier. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Dennis and Ruth Sweeney of St. Martinville and Dot Boutte of Catahoula and the late Carrol Boutte. She is a graduate of Teurlings Catholic High School and the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and is employed by the Iberia Parish school system as a speech pathologist. The groom-elect is a graduate of Teurlings Catholic High School and the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. He is owner of The Station Bar and Grill.
