Broussard – A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 11 .a., on Friday, July 6, 2012, at St. Joseph Catholic Church for Carrol Williams, 64, who passed away on Monday, July 2, 2012.

Rev. Justin Arockiasamy, SVD, officiated at the funeral service. Scriptures were read by Nicole Ledet and Brandy Malveaux. Gift Bearers were Justice Williams and Alanna Allen.

Entombment followed at Sacred Heart Mausoleum.

Carrol loved spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed traveling and especially loved cars – having driven over 20 brand new vehicles during his life.

Carrol looked forward to every New Years and 4th of July holiday because on those particular holidays he could celebrate with a display of fireworks that would amaze family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley Williams of Cade; his son, Wayne Williams of Houston, Texas; two daughters, Shana (Brian) Aubrey of Cankton and Dayna Williams (companion, Ulysses) of Cecilia; one brother, Dalton (Elleanor) Williams of Cade; seven sisters, Doris (Joseph) Alexander, Iris Charles of Houston, Texas, Joyce Charles of Lafayette, Bonnie (Junius) Senegal of Breaux Bridge, Brenda (Jay) Malveaux of St. Martinville, Susan Walker and Shirley (Garland) Landry, all of Cade; eight grandchildren, Justice Williams, Camille Williams, Ethan Aubrey, Brian Aubrey, Dylan Aubrey, Briley Aubrey, Daylin Lee and Madison Charles.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Gilbert and Alberta Fontenette Williams; a sister, Delores Lee; and three brothers, Gilbert, Butch and Wilbert Williams.

Pallbearers and honorary pallbearers were his nephews.

Pellerin Funeral Home of St. Martinville was in charge of arrangements.
