Lafayette – Funeral services for Celestine John-Lewis, 63, who died on Thursday, Dec. 25, 2008, at St Agnes Nursing Home in Breaux Bridge, were held on Saturday Dec. 27, 2008, at Kinchen Funeral Home.

Mrs. John-Lewis is survived by her daughter, Chevonne Johnson and her husband Damien Johnson, both of Alpharetta, Ga.; her brothers, Horace Louis of Crowley and Harrison John-Louis of Brusly; and her sister, Barbara Thibeaux and her husband Pete Thibeaux, both of Breaux Bridge; as well as many other relatives and friends.

Visitation was Saturday, Dec. 27, from 5 to 9 p.m. at Kinchen Funeral

Home Inc., 1011 N. St. Antoine St., Lafayette, which was in charge of arrangements.
