RAYNE – Services are Friday for former newspaer ad executive Johnny Meche. He died May 16 at age 72.
He was advertising director for The Daily Advertiser in Lafayette for 30 years.
Survivors include his wife Louise and a daughter.
Arrangements were by Gossen.

WEST MONROE – Services are Friday for former state right-of-way supervisor Ross Barfield. He died May 16 at age 70.
He retired from the Louisiana Dept. of Transportation and Development as statewide supervisor of right of way.
Survivors include his wife Gloria, a son and a daughter.
Arrangements were by Mulhearn.
