Interment followed at St. Michael Cemetery.
Our mother, Lillian, devoted her life to her family. She always put our needs ahead of her own. She provided loving care to our father during his illness, and, prior to that, was helpful in caring for her grandchildren while we worked. Lillian loved preparing huge Sunday meals; her homemade cakes were the best. During her illness, she was a true example of faith, patience, and strength. Our mother was deeply loved and will be sorrowfully missed.
Survivors include her son, Tony Robertson and his wife Sandra of Henderson; three daughters, Barbara Hardy and Sandra Dillard, both of Henderson, and Pamela Hotard and her husband Merrill of Baton Rouge; her twin brother, Leroy Dauphine and his wife Lula Mae of Nina; four grandchildren, Wayne Hardy Sr., Ryan Hardy, Jennifer Hardy and Daniel Dillard; and three great-grandchildren, Kay-cee Hardy, Austin Hardy and Wayne Hardy Jr.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Robertson; her parents, Laodis and Merida Courville Dauphine; her granddaughter, Jessica Hardy; five brothers, Paul, Simon, Bussey, Thomas and John Cecil “J.C.” Dauphine; and five sisters, Estelle Boyer, Yolinde Landry, Bertha Savoy, Yola Dejean and Belzire Dauphine.
A rosary was recited at 7 p.m. on Friday.
Pallbearers were Tony Robertson, Wayne Hardy Sr., Merrill Hotard, Daniel Dillard, Ryan Hardy and Patrick Boyer.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Henderson was in charge of arrangements.
