A rosary was recited at 7 p.m. on Wednesday.
Fr. Donald Pousson officiated at the funeral service. Scriptures were read by Molly, Holly and Hilary Guidry. Gift bearers were Andrea Stelly, Amber Frederick and Kaitlin Viator.
Interment followed at St. Joseph Cemetery.
Mary Ann loved gardening and flowers and enjoyed painting and arts and crafts. Her faith in God was strong and she recited the Rosary daily while offering her prayers and devotions to those in need. Mary Ann enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her great grandson, Liam. She enjoyed life to the fullest and loved to laugh and spread joy amoung everyone around her.
She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Allen J. Guidry of Arnaudville; two sons, Carl (Loyce) Guidry and Jessie (Sophie) Guidry, all of Arnaudville; three daughters, Barbara (Larry) Guidry of Parks, Sandy (Andrew) Stelly of Arnaudville and Kathy (James) Thibodeaux of Broussard; her son-in-law, Philip Frederick Jr. of St. Martinville; two sisters, Donna (Jimmy) Patin of Carencro and Rhona Quebedeaux of Grand Coteau; ten grandchildren, Heidi (Chris) Robin, Andrea Stelly and fiancé, Chris Phillips, Joshua (Betsy) Guidry, Holly Guidry, Molly Guidry, Seth (Courtney) Guidry, Lance Viator, Amber Frederick and Hilary Guidry and Kaitlin Viator; and one great-grandchild, Liam Robin.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Avelia Robin Cormier; and a daughter, Renella Guidry Frederick.
Pallbearers were Carl Guidry, Jessie Guidry, Larry Guidry, James Thibodeaux, Joshua Guidry and Lance Viator.
Honorary pallbearers were Andrew Stelly, Philip Frederick Jr., Chris Phillips, Chris Robin, Seth Guidry and Liam Robin.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Cecilia was in charge of arrangements.
