Police said Jarred Pontiff, 29, of Youngsville, recently freed from prison, and Heather Skrantz, 31, of Jennings were arrested after a complaint was lodged that he had molested a child.
Pontiff is charged with simple rape and aggravated rape and Skrantz with accessory after the fact.
