This year’s theme was “Live Fit – Taking Steps to be an Informed Citizen.”
St. Martin VFC members Lovell Benoit, Jo Bruce, Elsie Castille, Mavis Landry, Norma Olivier, Anna Stoute and Iva Theriot enjoyed a leisurely tour of the Louisiana State Museum and sat in on the Legislative Session in the House Chambers where LVFC members were recognized.
Workshop sessions were held on “Fighting Investment Fraud,” presented by Nancy Boudreaux; AARP’s “Vision for Livable Communities,” presented by Nancy McPherson; and Louisiana “Railroad Safety,” presented by Maxine Wilson.
By attending these activities, members earned credit hours toward LLL certification.
