The Creole Farmer’s Market Committee would like to thank all the people who came to support our annual Chariot Parade on Sunday, Oct. 24. We were so proud to see the children and parents participate in this wonderful activity that represents St. Martinville’s culture and what we enjoyed ourselves as children.

It was so nice to see people from the past and the new faces of future generations at this event. We want to thank the sponsors, the judges (Bob Foti and Greg Mouton), the community and the many volunteers who helped make this event a success.

We look forward to maintaining the tradition of the Chariot Parade which this community has cherished for many, many years. We are already planning the 2011 event and it will be even bigger and better.
