St. Martinville – Lyndi Michelle Boggs and Patrick Daniel Briese were united in marriage on Saturday, Jan. 8, 2011, during a 6 p.m. Mass at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church.

Monseigneur Douglas Courville officiated the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Joseph and Carla Boggs of St. Martinville. The groom is the son of Gregory and Anne Briese of Bogalusa.

Escorted by her father, the bride wore a Maggie Sottero strapless mermaid cut dress, which featured an embellished ivory ribbon lace over light gold satin. The dress was adorned with beads, sequins and pearls, and finished with a sweep train. She carried a bouquet of long-stem calla lilies.

Maid of honor was Mandi Boggs, the bride’s sister. Bridesmaids were Tristan Bienvenu, Erica Roy and Tiffany Pearson. Junior bridesmaid was Raegan Akers, the bride’s godchild.

Best man was Christian Cash. Groomsmen were Jonathan and Andrew Briese, the groom’s brothers; and Scott Aertker.

Ushers were Jim Babineaux and Tyler Poche.

Flower girl was Ann Elise Briese, the groom’s godchild.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at The Manor in Cade.

After a honeymoon in Whistler, Canada, the couple will reside in Lafayette.
