SUSPECTS STILL BEING SOUGHT IN CONNECTION WITH THE DEATH OF CORY SONNIER

Patrick George
(St. Martinville, La)-On the morning of June 24, 2011, an investigation was initiated by the St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office into the death of Cory Nicholas Sonnier. In the course of the investigation, a warrant for the arrest of Patrick Paul George was obtained by the St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office for the charge of Obstruction of Justice. Investigators with the St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office are still in need of the public’s assistance in locating Patrick George in reference to the investigation initiated on June 24, 2011 regarding the homicide of Cory Nicholas Sonnier. He is believed to possibly be in Georgia or somewhere along the I-10 corridor. St. Martin Parish Investigators are also asking the public’s assistance in locating David James Anderson, Jr. who is wanted for questioning in connection with this incident.



Patrick Paul George, 39, Lafayette, is a black male, approximately 5’08”, and weighs approximately 185 pounds. He may be operating either a green Geo Tracker-La. License N205906 or a white Ford Crown Victoria-La License TNE503. He should be considered armed and dangerous. David Anderson, Jr., 19, Lafayette, is a black male, 5’10” and weighs approximately 140 lbs. Mr. Anderson is also wanted by the Lafayette Drug Court System. If anyone has information as to the whereabouts of Patrick George or David Anderson’s whereabouts, they are asked to contact 911 or the St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office at 337-394-3071.
