Ville Platte Police charged a Ville Platte man with obscenity, aggravated battery and burglary after responding to a vehicle burglary Saturday, March 28.

Derrick Tezeno, 30, 501 Northeast Railroad, Ville Platte, was booked on these charges, according to Detective Ervin “Chip” Pitre, after residents observed him breaking into their vehicle.

When officers arrived, they allegedly found Tezeno with his pants down, which resulted in the obscenity charge. He also had stolen items in his possession.
