ARNAUDVILLE MAN INJURED IN SINGLE VEHICLE CRASH THIS MORNING

    ST. MARTINVILLE – This morning at approximately 6:43 a.m., a vehicle traveling north on Melvin Dupuy Road crossed the center line and struck a utility pole.<!--break-->

    The driver,  Martin Watkins, 31, of Arnaudville,dropped his cell phone and when he attempted to retrieve it, he overcorrected striking the ditch and then the utilty pole.  He was trapped for a short time in his vehicle.

    Watkins was transported via Air Med to a local hospital with moderate non-life threatening injuries.
