Interment followed at St. Michael Cemetery.
Msgr. J. Douglas Courville officiated at the Funeral Mass. Scriptures were read by Skye Touchet and Lois Nassans. Gift Bearers were her four great-grandchildren, Layke, Tyler, Noah and Skye.
Mrs. Touchet was a parishioner of St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church. She was a member of Martha’s Guild and served as a Den Mother for the Cub Scouts.
Adrienne was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She truly loved being outdoors, where she enjoyed gardening, tending to her rose garden, camping with family and friends, and dancing. The times that she treasured most were those spent with her family and friends.
Survivors include her loving husband of 53 years, Alfred “Dickie” Touchet Sr. of St. Martinville; two sons, Alfred Touchet Jr. and his wife, Mickey of Broussard, and Brian Touchet and his wife Brenda of St. Martinville; four grandsons, Michael Touchet and his wife Princess of Savannah, Georgia, Harold Touchet and his wife Katie of Sanford, North Carolina, David Touchet and his wife Jenna of Tuscan, Arizona, and Adam Touchet of St. Martinville; four great-grandchildren, Layke, Tyler, Noah and Skye Touchet; one sister, Joy Rita Broussard of St. Martinville; her sisters-in-law, Chiyoko Nassans, Lois Nassans and Audrey Nassans; and her brother-in-law, Ray Broussard.
She also leaves behind her precious dogs, who brought her much joy and comfort, and her dearest friends, Murrell and Joyce Smith.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Sharon Lynn Touchet; her parents, Louis Nassans Sr. and Eula Bea Rayburn Nassans; three brothers, John Nassans, Louis Nassans Jr. and Robert “Bobby” Nassans; and a sister, Joanne Broussard.
A rosary was recited at 7 p.m. on Sunday.
Pallbearers were Alfred Touchet Jr., Brian Touchet, Michael Touchet, Harold Touchet, David Touchet and Adam Touchet.
Honorary pallbearers were Murrell Smith and George Resweber.
Pellerin Funeral Home of St. Martinville was in charge of arrangements.
