Arnaudville – If you haven’t been able to pick up any LA-31 Bière Pâle, don’t feel like the Lone Ranger. Brewmaster Karlos Knott reports that the first shipment of the new Cajun beer sold out in a day.

It was supposed to be enough for a month.

The beer, formulated to go with Cajun and Creole foods, is produced by Bayou Teche Brewing and distributed by Schilling Distributing Co., Inc.

The beer went on sale last Thursday.

“We will make more,” vowed Knott.
