Breaux Bridge – A funeral service was held on Friday, June 8, at Pellerin Funeral Home for George Willard Vest, 90, who passed away on Wednesday, June 6, 2018, at his residence.
Interment followed at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2.
He honorably served our country in the Korean war and was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Maggie Richard Vest; sons, Howard Vest, Denny and David Jones, and Brian Allemane; daughters, Tracie V. Andrews and Lora Blankenship; sister, Vern Wray; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge was in charge of arrangements.
