Catahoula – Charles Latiolais Sr., 84, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, September 19, 2021.
“Charlie” was born on September 11, 1937, in Loreauville, La.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Barbara Doucet Latiolais; the 7 C’s, Cyndi (Allic Dupluis Jr.), Charles “Chuck” Latiolais Jr., Carmen (Jim Builliard), Celeste (Ed Eastin), Collette (Brian D. Theriot), Cheree (Jimmy Poirier), and Clayton Latiolais; his pride and joy, his granddaughters, Calie (Kevin Dugas), Cydni (Devin Delcambre), Hannah Latiolais and Peyton Poirier; great-granddaughters, Harper and Eastyn Dugas; and his brother, Walter Latiolais.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Celina Latiolais; sisters, Irene Pelous, Mildred Seneca, Rena Olivier and “Lil” Doris Latiolais.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 25, at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of the Lake Cemetery in Catahoula.
