Aline T. Guidry

Breaux Bridge – A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 10 a.m. on Friday, June 29, 2018, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Parks for Aline T. Guidry, 90, who passed away on Tuesday, June 26, 2018, surrounded by her family. Visiting hours were observed at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. on Thursday and continued on Friday at 8 a.m. until 9:15 a.m. A rosary will be prayed at 7 p.m. on Thursday. Rev. Ed Degeyter officiated at the Funeral Mass. Con-celebrant was her son, Deacon Perry Guidry. Readers were Kacie Francois and Beth Guidry. Gift bearers were Kyrsten Comeaux and Sonya Francois. Interment followed at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge. Aline was born April 11, 1928 in Parks, Louisiana. She was a faithful parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Parks and loved praying her rosary. Aline enjoyed gardening, working puzzles, reading, sewing, camping, playing cards, and baking. She loved spending time with her family and her best friend and roommate, Amy Wiltz. She is survived by her daughters, Marian Comeaux, Kathleen “Kathy” Louviere, Donna LaCombe, Sharon Dwyer and husband Kirk Sr., and Angela “Angie” Boudreaux and husband Deno Jr.; sons, Deacon Perry Guidry and wife Edolia, and Jeff Guidry and wife Charlene; 17 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Milton and Clarence Theriot; sisters, Odell Lovell, Lillian Degeyter, Madell Dupuis, Sister Ameline Theriot, Joyce Ann Champagne and Mary Jane Ozenne. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herband J. Guidry; parents, Alexie Theriot Sr. and Jeanne Blanchard Theriot; grandchildren, Dawn Louviere and Tucker Huval; brother, Alexie Theriot Jr.; sister, Mildred Degeyter; and sons-in-law, Richard Comeaux Sr., Rogers Louviere and Timothy LaCombe. Pallbearers were Jeff Guidry, Deno Boudreaux, Jacob Francois, Clint Guidry, Chad LaCombe and Brian Huval. Honorary pallbearers were Joshua Boudreaux, Kirk Dwyer, Ryan LaCombe, Justin Boudreaux and Sebastian Huval. Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge was in charge of arrangements.
