Members of the St. Martinville Chamber of Commerce and
Garden Club participated in a Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service on Monday, gathering
to clean up litter and install litter signs along the city’s Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive. MLK Day of Service is intended to empower individuals, strengthen communities, bridge barriers, create solutions to social problems, and move us closer to King's vision of a "Beloved Community."
