St. Martinville – A native of St. Martinville and a resident of Carencro, Cliny “CJ” Joseph Theriot Sr., 87, passed away peacefully in his home on Thursday, July 5, 2018.
A Funeral Service was held on Saturday, July 7, at Pellerin Funeral Home.
Interment followed at St. Michael Cemetery.
He is survived by his spouse, Betty J. Dubois Theriot; his sons, Cliny J. Jr. and Matthew B. Theriot; his daughter, Mrs. Douglas (Sheila J.) Kimball; his brothers, Allie and Nolan Theriot; his sisters, Cecile Dupuis, Marie Broussard and Lucille Theriot; seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife and mother of his three children, Anna Aucoin Theriot; brothers, Woodrow, Willis and Dudley Theriot; and sisters, Mrs. Jack (Rita) Romero, Mrs. EDmond (Theresa) Cormier and Judy Theriotd.
Pellerin Funeral Home of St. Martinville was in charge of arrangements.
