They were married in New Orleans, La.
Flo graduated from Abbeville High school in 1960 and met and married the love of her life, Bill Arnold, in New Orleans.
She was well read, well traveled, loved books, and spent countless hours gardening.
She lived a life of quiet service to others, where she volunteered as a Cub Scout Den Mother for a decade, influencing young men to be productive citizens. She donated blood faithfully every six weeks until she reached an age when she could no longer donate. She was a devoted Catholic and attended St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church.
She taught English and reading to non-native English speaking adults, and was known to spend a weekend or more working at St. Joseph’s Diner.
With her unparalleled work ethic, she worked cleaning swimming pools for the family business until she was 78 years old.
Flo was a self sacrificing mother and grandmother, with a warm smile, bright, blue eyes, and a terrific laugh. She will be sorely missed by all.
Children: Son, Allen Keith Arnold, Breaux Bridge, Louisiana; Daughters, Denise and Brian Boe, Paulina, Louisiana; Sons, Ryan and Kacey Arnold, Mandeville, Louisiana.
Grandchildren: Blakely Arnold Trahan (Jake), Hannah Arnold, Merrit Arnold, Paige Bourgeois Lassere (Dylan), Peyton Bourgeois, Samuel Arnold and Sydney Arnold.
Great-grandchildren: Ella Trahan, Owen Trahan and Anna Trahan.
Brothers and Sisters: Vicki Comby (Deceased), Donald and Kay Miller, Moore, Oklahoma.
Preceeded in death by her husband, Bill Arnold; and her sister, Vicki Miller Comby.
