Cecilia – Floyd “Hal” Scrantz Sr., 89, of Cecilia passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Saturday, July 27, 2024 after a lengthy illness. It was Floyd’s wish to donate his body to science.
He is survived by his wife, Jane Scrantz, two sons Floyd Jr., and Kevin P. Scrantz; his daughter Stephanie Roberts and her husband Brett; and one granddaughter, Jenna Roberts; and his dog, Bella.
He was preceded in death by his parents Theophile “Bis” and Lizzie Huval Scrantz; his son Todd Scrantz; his brother Ralph Scrantz; his sisters Stella S. Angelle and Ella S. Lalonde.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to WOW of Acadiana, NSI Home Health, and NSI Hospice for their care and support.
