St. Martinville - A Mass of Christian Burial was held Sept. 14, at Notre Dame Catholic Church for Calden J. Francis Sr., 93, who died on Sept. 6, 2024.
He is survived by his wife, Marion Ambroise Francis; sons, Merlin Francis, Michael Francis, Jarvis Francis, Calden Francis, Jr. and Wendell Francis; daughters, Cheryl Mitchell, Rhonda Broussard, Corita Andrus and Amy Williams; brothers, Aaron Flegeance and Jason Flegeance; sisters, Velma Johnson and Joann Degray; 12 grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren.
Pellerin Funeral Home of St. Martinville was in charge of arrangements.
