Lafayette – Funeral Services for Agnes Fuselier Girouard, 92, were held at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 2, 2024, at Frioux-David Funeral Home of Lafayette with Deacon Kyle Faber officiating.
Interment followed at Sacred Heart Mausoleum in Broussard.
Visitation began at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 2, 2024, at Frioux-David Funeral Home until the time of services with a recitation of the rosary at 11:30 a.m.
Mrs. Agnes Girouard passed away peacefully on Monday, October 28, 2024, at her home in Broussard. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by five children, Janice, Margot, Stephen, Fay, and Diana; three grandchildren, David, Gage, and Sarah; two brothers, Palmer and Sidney; three sisters-in-law, Pat, Virginia, and Odile; and two adopted daughters, Trudy and Lori.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence, a son, Brian; two brothers, Cecil and Mark; and her parents, Palmer and Agnes Fuselier.
Serving as pallbearers were Fred Girouard, Gage Guillory, Darren Guillory, Tim Conlin, Butch Thibodeaux and Steve Bodden.
The Girouard Family would like to thank Hospice of Acadiana, Dr. Britni Hebert, Rachel Fournet and Anna Adams for all their help and kindness.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Hospice of Acadiana.
Frioux-David Funeral Home of Lafayette at 316 Youngsville Hwy (337) 837-9887 will be handling the arrangements.
