Henderson - A Mass of Christian Burial was held at 2 p.m. on Monday, December 23, 2024, at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church in Henderson to honor the life of Anna Mae Faucheaux, 83, who passed away on Friday, December 20, 2024, at her residence.
A visitation took place at the funeral home in Cecilia on Sunday beginning at 1:30 p.m. It continued all night until 1:30 p.m. on Monday.
A Rosary was recited at 7 p.m. on Sunday evening by Deacon Perry Guidry.
Father Michael Richard officiated at the Funeral Mass. Readers were Kali Castille and Tiffanie LeGrand. Gift Bearers were Autumn Raymond, Shelton Faucheaux, Hadley Humble and Isabelle Castille.
Burial followed at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery in Henderson.
Anna Mae was a seamstress employed at Martin Mills for 26 years - from their opening to their closing. Once they closed, she worked at Cracker Barrel for many years. Her family meant everything to her. She loved to cook and spend time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Anna Mae was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, who will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her daughter, Delores LaGrange (James); sons, Eugene Faucheaux (Paula) and Shenny Berard (Sara); grandchildren, Chase LeGrand (Tiffanie), Kali Castille (Kaynon), Holly Billiot (Nathaniel), Constance Faucheaux (Jonathan) and Candace Faucheaux (Teneisha); great-grandchildren, Autumn Raymond, Shelton Faucheaux, Hadley Humble, Sterling Humble, Alaina Champagne, Cooper LeGrand, Isabelle Castille and Kohen Castille.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Shelton Faucheaux; parents, Solinie LeBlanc and Constance Belaire LeBLanc; brother, Curtis LeBlanc (Verline); and sister, Delores LeBlanc.
Pallbearers were Chase LeGrand, Cooper LeGrand, Jonathan Humble, Candace Faucheaux, Bobby LeBlanc and Shenny Berard.
Honorary pallbearers were Kim David, James LaGrange, Nathaniel Billiot and Kaynon Castille.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Cecilia is in charge of arrangements.
