Henderson – Sally Angelle, the longtime Teche News Lifestyles and Public Notices clerk, passed away Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at The Calcutta House in Lafayette surrounded by family.
She was 64 and a lifelong resident of the Henderson community.
Angelle began her career with the Teche News in October 1997. She was an award winning photographer who enjoyed covering events in St. Martin Parish.
She also was an avid Cecilia High School booster who enjoyed the Bulldogs’ run to the 2024 Division II Non-Select state football championship in December.
Details are incomplete, but a Celebration of Life is planned at a later date.
