Breaux Bridge picked up a 12-9 non-district softball win over Ville Platte on Wednesday in an otherwise tough week for the Lady Tigers.
BBHS lost to Beau Chene 8-4 in a District 5-4A game on Tuesday, lost to Acadiana Renaissance Charter Academy 9-3 in a non-district game on Thursday and lost 25-3 to Jennings and 17-11 to DeQuincy in Sulphur’s tournament on Saturday.
Against Ville Platte, Gracie Hebert went 4-for-4 with three doubles and four RBIs to lead Breaux Bridge. Rylie Boudreaux went 3-for-4 with a double and a triple, Calie Chiasson went 3-for-4 with a triple and three RBIs, Zoey Simoneaux tripled and drove in a run, Carleigh Gant went 2-for-3 with two RBIs and Brandi Williams went 2-for-4 with an RBI.
Josie Theriot pitched four innings to earn the win, allowing two runs on six hits with five walks and two strikeouts.
