The Cecilia Scholarship Fund Association announced the recipients of the Cleveland and Mona Halphen Dupuis Memorial Scholarships, honoring 15 former 8th graders from Cecilia Junior High.
These students have the opportunity to receive cash scholarships upon their high school graduation, provided they maintain a minimum GPA of 3.2 and enroll in a college or university.
The scholarship recipients included: Dakota Fuselier, $2,000 scholarship; Jace Blanchard and Addie Martin $1,500 each; Zoel Huval, Maddie Latiolais, and Jiazon Chanthavonsy, $1,000 each; Sean Richard and Laiken Richard, $750 each; Chloe Joseph, Benton Angelle, and Madison Lam, $500 each; and Shelby Phillips, Macie Dunbar, Londyn Wiltz, and Marreice Ruffin, $250 each.
Additionally, students Mia Clay, Gabrielle Lecoq, Mia Latiolais, Kayden Romero, Ayden Joubert, Sawyer Latiolais, Estelle Johnson, and Victoria Gallien received honorable mention.
