The National EMS Academy, a sister company to Acadian Ambulance, is offering its next EMT class where you can become an EMT in just 12 weeks. The class begins May 26, with orientation held May 20 and 21.
The National EMS Academy has a campus in Lafayette.
Students who pass the class and the National Registry exam are eligible to work at Acadian Ambulance, which has job openings throughout Louisiana, Texas, Tennessee, and Mississippi.
Acadian Ambulance EMTs have the opportunity to travel within the company’s service areas, grow to become paramedics and have tuition reimbursed.

National EMS Academy offers initial education, continuing education, and refresher courses for a number of EMS career pathways, including EMR, ECA, EMTs, and paramedics.
