- Dale Pierrottie taught bousillage-making at Longfellow-Evangeline State Historic Site on April 5. Students mixed clay mud with moss to insulate a model wall. PIerottie, standing in front of the wall, is the last known master of this feature of Louisiana native architecture. He is passing on his knowledge to the next generation of artists and builders.
