Following tradition, parishioners of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cecilia participated in a Good Friday Stations of the Cross walk from the church to St. John Francis Regis Catholic Church in Arnaudville, a journey of 6.5 miles, to make a special devotion to pray and reflect on the passion and death of Jesus Christ. The walk commemorates the journey taken by Jesus Christ from the time of his arrest to his death by crucifixion.
