Cecilia – A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, October 10, 2018, at St. Joseph Catholic Church for Tony James Hebert, 67, who passed away on Saturday, October 6, 2018, at his residence.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 3 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Tuesday and continue on Wednesday at 7 a.m. until 10:45 a.m.
A rosary will be prayed at 7 p.m. on Tuesday by Deacon Ken Soignier.
Rev. Gregory Cormier will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Readers will be Nadine Savoy and Cindy Huval. Gift Bearers will be Carlee LeMaire, Sophee LeMaire, Charmaine LeMaire and Scarlett Hebert.
Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Cecilia.
Mr. Hebert was a devout Catholic and a parishioner at St. Joseph Catholic Church. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who enjoyed hunting, traveling, and most of all cherished moments spent with his grandchildren. In the mornings, he looked forward to attending his “coffee club” group with his buddies. Mr. Hebert will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his loving spouse, Sheila Ann Savoy Hebert; two daughters, Scarlett O. Hebert and Charmaine Hebert LeMaire and husband Carl; brother, Cleston Hebert Jr. and wife Jeanette; sister, Margo H. Patin and husband Warren J.; and his grandchildren, Carlee J. LeMaire and Sophee B. LeMaire.
He was preceded in death by his father, Cleston Hebert Sr.; mother, Elverina Hebert; sister, Rebecca Robertson; nephew, Deacon Delahoussaye; father-in-law, Percy Savoy; mother-in-law, Pauline Savoy; and his brother-in-law, Robert Savoie.
Pallbearers will be Carl LeMaire, Cleston Hebert Jr., William Savoy, Taylor Patin, Warren Patin and Boyd Savoie.
