Breaux Bridge – A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 18, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church for Dorothy Mae Broussard, 72, who passed away on Sunday, Oct. 14, 2018, at Heart Hospital of Lafayette.
Visiting hours will be observed at the funeral home from 7 a.m. until 10 a.m. on Thursday.
Interment will follow at St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery.
She is survived by her son, Roderick Broussard; daughter, Mrs. Olies (Madonna) Broussard; sisters, Mrs. Ludger (Anna) Cormier, Mrs. Wilray (Josephine) Cormier, Bernadette Jeanminette and Mrs. Michael (Melinda) Huger; brother, Paul Phillips; eight grandchildren, and Ransome Broussard; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Shirley Phillips.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
