Breaux Bridge – A Funeral Service was held on Sunday, April 8, at Pellerin Funeral Home for Melvin W.J. Rivers Sr., 71, who passed away on Thursday, April 5, 2018, at Iberia Medical Center.
He is survived by his daughters, Mrs. Raymond (Wendy) Yoder and Mrs. Ricky (Amy) Simon; sons, Toby and Chance Rivers; brother, Donald Rivers; sister, Mrs. Ray (Elaine) Duplechin; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren,.
He was preceded in death by a son, Melvin W.J. Rivers Jr.; and sisters, Margie Degeyter and Glenda Champagne.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge was in charge of arrangements.
