Catahoula – A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Saturday, Dec. 29, at St. Rita Catholic Church for Clarence J. Girouard Sr., 93, who passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 25, 2018
Interment followed at Our Lady of the Lake Cemeterya.
He honorably served his country in the U. S. Army and was awarded The Purple Heart.
He is survived by his sons, Rickey Goulas and Clarence “Quank” Girouard Jr.; daughter, Mrs. Eddie (Dianne) Goulas; eight grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Marie Girouard; son, Errol Girouard, daughter, Jenny Girouard; and brother, Paul J. Girouard
Pellerin Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
