Breaux Bridge – A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Saturday, Jan. 5, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church for Geraldine “Geri” Goodie, 64, who passed away on Saturday, Dec. 29, 2018.
Interment followed at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery in Cecilia.
She is survived by her sons, Christopher R., Kevin L., Demetrius L. and Jared N. Goodie and Mackenzie T. Simpson; brothers, Joseph Ames and Ronnie Calais; sister, Octavia Calais; 15 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elton Goodie; brother, John A. Ames; sister, Linda Ames; and a granddaughters.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge was in charge of arrangements.
