Arnaudville – A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Saturday, Jan. 5, at St. John Francis Regis Catholic Church for Ovignac Broussard Jr., 69, who passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 25, 2018.
Interment followed at St. John Francis Regis Cemetery.
Ovignac served in the U. S. Marine Corps earning a Purple Heart during the Vietnam War.
He is survived by his sons, John P. and Derimzey Zenon; daughter, Mrs. George (Angie) Rangel; brothers, John, Edward, Kenneth, Joseph L. and David M. Broussard; sisters, Joyce Broussard, amrs. Charles (Brenda) Thompson and Mrs. Rodney (Patricia) Francis; seven grandchildren; and the mother of his children, Delores Collins Broussard.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Georgia Broussard.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Arnaudville was in charge of arrangements.
