Tristian Joshua Menard

St. Martinville – Services will be conducted for Tristian Joshua Menard, 20, at 10 a.m. on Friday, February 15, 2019, at Notre Dame Catholic Church. Interment will be in St. Michael Mausoleum. Visitation will be from 7 a.m. until time of services at the church. A Rosary will be prayed at 9 a.m. Friday at the church. A native and lifelong resident of Breaux Bridge, he passed away on Tuesday, February 5, 2019, at his home. He was affectionately known as “TJ.” He enjoyed burgers and cake, old school reruns of game shows and entertaining himself on his computer and listening to music. Survivors includle his mother, Rochelle Menard of Breaux Bridge; father, Thaddeus Simon Sr. (Gail) of St. Martinville; sisters, Shelcie Menard (Jonathan) of Huntsville, N.C., Angelle Menard of Breaux Bridge and Tiffany Simon of St. Martinville; brothers; Thaddeus Simon Jr. (Melissa) of Houston, Texas, and Steven Broussard of Loreauville; grandfather, MenardHoward Menard (Earline) of St. Martinville; grandmother, Marion Menard of Breaux Bridge; Godfather, Horace Mitchell Sr. of St. Martinville; as well as a host of uncles, aunts cousins, nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Leona Mae and Douglas Simon Sr.; and maternal great- grandparents, Lucille and Harrison Mitchell and Francis and Icy Menard. The Golden Meadows Funeral Home of St. Martinville is in charge of arrangements.
