St. Martinville - A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 12, at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church in St. Martinville for Nolan Peter Theriot, Sr., 81, who passed away on Tuesday, April 9, 2019, at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center.
Interment followed at St. Michael Cemetery in St. Martinville.
He is survived by his sons, Peter “Nookie” Theriot, Jr. and wife Sandy, Lorne Theriot and wife Belinda, Kevin Theriot and wife Janet, Neil Theriot and wife Krystal, and Jody Theriot and wife Anne; brother, Allie Theriot; sisters, Cecile Dupuis, Marie Broussard, and Lucile Theriot; 13 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Douet Theriot; brothers, Woodrow, Willis, Dudley, and Cliney Theriot; and sisters, Rita Romero, Theresa Cormier, and Judy Theriot.
Pellerin Funeral Home of St. Martinville was in charge of arrangements.
