St. Martinville – A Mass of Christian Burial wase celebrated on Thursday, May 30 at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church for Helen Bienvenu, 78, who passed away on Monday, May 27, 2019.
Interment followed at St. Michael’s Cemetery.
She is survived by her daughters, Annette Bryan and Mrs. Brian (Ellen) Taylor; son, Alton Gallet; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; sisters, Irene Theriot, Sidney Mae Louviere, Mrs. Stanley (Clara Ann) Wiltz and Livia Olivier; brothers, Wilbert, Berton, Clesmae and Roland Albert.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Bienvenu; son, Arthur Gallet; sisters, Florence Hebert and Lorraine Louviere; and brothers, Ambroiset, Russell and Moise Albert Jr.
Pellerin Funeral Home of St. Martinville was in charge of arrangements.
