Arnaudville – A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 29, at St. John Francis Regis Catholic Church for Borita Gordon Davis, 78, who passed away on Saturday, June 22, 2019.
Visiting hours will be observed at the funeral home from 7 a.m. until 11 a.m. on Saturday.
Interment will follow at St. John Francis Regis Cemetery.
She is survived by her sons, Ronald Davis and Randall Papillion; daughters, Mrs. James (Mary L.) Sam and Mrs. Ernest (Mary A.) Powell; brother, Joseph G. Gordon; sisters, Mrs. Pierre (Gustavia) Savoie, Mrs. William (Irma) Steward, Mrs. Hubert (Mary) Singleton, Elizabeth Ledet, Mrs. Clarence (Mary) Jones Sr., and Mrs. Robert (Ezola) Williams; eight grandchildren, five step grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and seven step great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Davis; son, Randy Davis; sisters, Anna M. Cormier, Lucy Borel and Beulah Williams; and brothers, Raymond, Horace Jr., Rogers, Tony and Alton Gordon.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Arnaudville is in charge of arrangements.
