St. Martinville – A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Monday, July 8, at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church for Bertha Mae Willis, 89, who passed away on Thursday, July 4, 2019.
Interment followed at St. Michael Cemetery.
She is survived by her son, Matthew Willis; daughters, Mrs. Gerald (Callie) Waldrep and Mrs. David (Teressa) Darnell; brothers, Moise “MJ” LeBlanc Jr. and Hardy LeBlanc; sister, Mrs. Guy (Rena) Courville and husband Guy; five grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles “Boy Boy” Willis; and daughter, Leslie Louviere.
Pellerin Funeral Home of St. Martinville was in charge of arrangements.
